The bill announced today includes Jane’s Addiction, Metric, Social Distortion, Cee Lo Green, Cake and more. Wow. So that’s classic alt-rock, Canadian new wave, zany R&B singer and weird rock band with deadpan singer who plays the trumpet: Modern rock.
General admission tickets are $80 (more for VIP status) and go on sale Monday, June 13 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
The Classic Rock Festival happens just a couple of weeks before, Aug. 12-13 at the Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park (read details here). Then we’ll determine how long something really takes to go from classic to modern rock. Doesn’t K-97 play Jane’s Addiction every now and then?
