Halsey cancels Edmonton, cut short Calgary

New Americana singer Halsey has canceled Wednesday night’s show in Edmonton at Rogers Place, following a performance that was cut short Tuesday in Calgary, citing a “personal emergency.”

No other details were available Wednesday morning, and her social media accounts have been silent. Ticket refunds were offered in Calgary, as they will in Edmonton, at the point of purchase.

Halsey, aka Ashley Frangipane, is touring behind her latest album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. She came to fame in 2015 with the release of her debut Badlands, and the single New Americana that made an impact across multiple radio formats. Halsey last performed in Edmonton at the final Sonic Boom alternative rock festival in September 2016.
