MUSIC PREVIEW: Deathcore takes a holiday

This weekend features two evenings of deathcore bands whose itineraries find them in our fair city.

Ably supported by Left Behind, I Am, and Arrival Of Autumn, frontman and leader Vincent Bennett’s band has an impressive eight albums to their credit, including last year’s Gravebloom, which received solid ratings across the board, and snuck into the top ten of Billboard’s hard rock albums. Tickets to the 7 pm show are $19.50, BUY.

Saturday evening, Florida’s Traitors play right next door, at the Temple showroom. The band released their newest album, Anger Issues, in February of this year, and are in the midst of a continent-wide tour to support the album. Only four years in, the band seems ready to set sail on an epic career. Fellow deathcore projects Signs Of the Swarm from Pittsburgh and Windsor’s Falsifier are also on the bill.
